TOTAL TIME: Two hours.
Carpe Diem meaning seize the day is a pretty good motto to have, so when I saw these awesome pillowcases from Urban Outfitters I was hooked. They were so graphic, so simple, so cool. But what I wasn’t hooked on was the $34.00 price.
I wanted to wake up to those inspiring words and I knew I could make the pillowcases myself, so I got to work.
First, I wrote out the words on each pillow and went over them with a small paintbrush. After a few hours, I was done.
The best part of these pillowcases is how they pop on my bed. I ♥ this project.
Start with a blank pillowcase. | Lightly scibble your design onto the pillowcase. |
Paint over the words and let the case dry. | Place your pillows in your newly designed pillowcases. After washing of course. |
