ABOUT ME
I am passionate about words, about affecting children's lives for the better, about music, hope, and support. I love working with creative people who want to use their gifts to challenge and change the world in a positive way. I love independent magazines and detailed, custom design. I love to surround myself with beautiful things.
I tend to be overly passionate about my feelings and the feelings of others, but I think this is good because I am loyal and more so dedicated to everybody that I know. I believe in karma and free will. Sometimes I also believe in destiny and fate.
My biggest weaknesses are candy, clothes, traveling, music, office supplies, and books, but not in that order.
I live in Wicker Park, a pretty eclectic neighborhood in the city of Chicago with my husband and son. We live right next to the Blue Line train. My bedroom window overlooks an alley which is surprisingly very busy at all hours of the night. I long for moments of true peace.
I am the eldest of five children. I have two sisters and two brothers. We can be found in various cities across the U.S. We are very different, but at times also very similar. Each one of us is gifted in our own way even though some of us are still trying to figure out what those gifts are.
I am energized to write and create as much as humanly possible. Lately, I've been reading a lot. I love to read.
I've been writing lately too. I have a series of short stories that are in dire need of revision.
When I'm bored, sleepy, angry, happy, loved, or inspired, I write. I believe in the power of words and phrases, which is why I collect fortune cookie fortunes.
My goal is to leave a piece of myself behind when I am no longer here. I want to create good work and inspire people to follow their dreams. I am an enthusiast who wants to achieve as much as she can in the small amount of time left.
